The Digital Switchover for the Fylde Coast has now been completed. Should you be havnig problems with your digital reception, don't hesitate - contact us NOW!
What does "Digital Switchover" mean?
The Digital Switchover simply means that the television transmitters which send signals
to your tv aerial will now only transmit digital signals to your aerial.
The existing analogue signals will cease to be transmitted, which means
that you must have a way of receiving digital signals to continue watching television.
How to receive Digital Television Signals
It can be as easy as connecting a digital box to your existing television. Some new television
sets have the digital reception equipment already installed within them.
Remember - if you have more than one television they must all be adapted to receive the digital
signal.
It may be that you will need to upgrade your tv aerial. This is particularly relevant should you wish
to receive HD (High Definition) transmissions, which are planned to be introduced some time after Switchover.
